With left-hander Madison Bumgarner towing the hill for the Giants, Dodgers skipper Don Mattingly chooses to go with the right-handed heavy order as Puig takes right and leads off, Matt Kemp in center and Scott Van Slyke will in left.
According to reports, Puig was 45-minutes late for stretching before yesterday’s game arriving hours after his teammates showed up to the field. The second-year outfielder who has been no stranger off the field antics said he didn’t realize warmups were moved up due to pre game ceremonies, took full responsibility and apologized to his teammates.
