Carli Lloyd of the United States did something in the Womenβs World Cup final that will probably never be matchedβ¦ Scoring three goals within the first 15 minutes as the U.S. takes a 4-1 lead at the half on Japan from Vancouver.
Lloydβs first goal came during a Megan Rapinoe corner kick in the 3rd minute.

Japan added a tally later on in the half which was the first goal given up by the United States since the opener of the Tournament but⦠coming from three down against that American defense is next to impossible.
