The Pistons beat the Miami Heat 123-121 Tuesday night in OT winning the NBA Cup East Group B opener.
What made the win even better though was the way the game ended after Cade hit Jalen Duren with a nasty lob to tie things up at 121. However, caught up in the moment, Miami head coach Erik Spoelstra had a massive brain fart calling timeout without zero in handing setting the Pistons up with free throws off the tech.
Jalen Rose’s reaction was priceless and no doubt giving him uncomfortable flashbacks.
This was Detroit’s first victory in the NBA Cup Group play after they didn’t win any games last season. It also marked the Pistons’ fifth win of the current season, bringing them closer to half of their total wins from last year.
