The Tigers outfielder finished the series finale this afternoon at Comerica Park with four hits, four RBI, and two home runs including a three-run walk-off in the ninth sending Detroit to a 14-11 win over the Toronto Blue Jays.
The Tigers held leads of 5-0 after three innings, 8-3 after five innings, and 9-5 after six innings, then trailed at one point by two runs late. The Tigers also set a season high for runs and tied their high with 17 hits, a good sign for a team that’s been pretty pedestrian when it comes to their offense throughout the first few months of the year.
