Video has since emerged of former NFL quarterback (and current FOX Sports analyst) Donovan McNabb‘s DUI arrest this past June.
TMZ was the first to publish the footage of the DUI stop which saw McNabb state he was going home from a bar and that he hadn’t been drinking. McNabb was also apparently sucking on a cough drop which he claimed was for a cold. He also stated he was taking medication for a shoulder injury while mentioning he played football after being asked if he had any head injuries, which is kind of weird if you ask me. I guess from my years watching COPS I’ve never heard of the police asking about head injuries during a drunk driving stop.
Anyways, alcohol was reportedly found in McNabb’s possession stored in the trunk but was apparently full according to the original report from TMZ.
McNabb has since been suspended by FOX Sports.
