Not only is the current run the Tigers are on incredible but how about this from last night’s Marlins/Twins game in Minnesota?
In the bottom of the 10th with bases loaded and one out for the Twins who were trailing 5-4, former Tiger Willi Castro hit a deep fly ball to center that another former Tiger Derek Hill had to track down and make an amazing catch to hold the go-ahead run at third.
Oh yeah, and former Tigers broadcaster Rod Allen was on the call…
The catch eventually helped send the Marlins to an 8-5 win over the Twins in extras while reducing the Tigers’ magic number for one of the two remaining wild card spots in the American League to one.
You seriously can’t make this shit up…
