Cleveland is a win away from the World Series however at this point it looks like the Cubs will soon be too.
Simply the Tribe has had quite possibly one of the worst first innings in World Series history. First it was Josh Tomlin offering up a meatball to Kris Bryant which he promptly launched out of Progressive.
However it was then possibly one of the worst defensive mishaps in World Series history when Tyler Naquin and Lonnie Chisenhall boned a routine fly ball to right center off the bat of Addison Russell. But instead of getting Tomlin out of the inning Anthony Rizzo and Ben Zobrist both came around to score with Zobrist laying out Roberto Perez at the plate.
