One of the many great sights in the Tigers’ locker room this afternoon after the sweep of the Astros in the Wild Card series was Tigers legend Alan Trammell getting mobbed with beer during the celebration.
Trammell, who was there 40 years ago when the Tigers last won the World Series and suffered with all of us when he managed that godawful 2003 team, currently serves as a special assistant to Tigers GM Jeff Greenberg.
