The Warriors completed yet another sweep tonight when they beat the San Antonio Spurs 129-115 and stamped their ticket to their third straight NBA Finals.
And to continue with just how impressive Golden State has been this postseason they remain undefeated at 12-0 and become to the first NBA team in history to accomplish such a feat.
There’s not much you can say about the Warriors’ dominance during the playoff this season. Their 12th postseason game last season came during game two of the Western Conference Finals. And even with with Kawhi Leonard out for the Spurs you have to wonder if his presence would have made that much of a difference? Aside from game one, the Warriors blew out the Spurs winning games two, three and four by double-digits.
So maybe instead of winning the series in four, the Warriors win the series in five? Big deal.
Up next for Golden State is probably part three of their finals trilogy against the Cavaliers. That is if Cleveland can fully put game three behind them.
