The Dodgers and Diamondbacks aren’t too fond of each other at the big league level so it’s only fitting that their Triple-A affiliates don’t like each other as well. This certainly seems to be the case as the Albuquerque Isotopes and Reno Aces, Triple-A affiliates of the Dodgers and Diamondbacks respectively got into a wild brawl that wasn’t minor be any means.
According to KOLO-TV reporter Ben Ross the brawl was started after Isotopes infielder Erisbel Arruebarrena wasn’t pleased after being thrown at. This boiled over after Arruebarrena eventually struck out and shoved Blake Lalli of the Aces.

In the end 10 players were ejected as well as Reno manager and one-time Padres All-Star Phil Nevin. Other than that though you’d have to expect that Arruebarrena will face a long suspension for his role in the whole thing.
