If this baseball thing ends up not working out (which doesn’t seem very likely) Mike Trout might have a career on the PGA Tour.
Perhaps one the best low-ball hitters in the game, Mike Trout capped off an Angels comeback with a 9th inning, walk-off solo home run to give Los Angeles a 7-6 win over the Astros Friday night.
The home run marked his second walk-off of his career, both of which have come this season bringing Trout’s grand total to 20 on the year. But it’s not just the home runs for Trout who’s well on his way to winning his first AL MVP title. He possesses an impressive slash line of .313/.406/.616 and a league leading 1.022 OPS.
Best overall player in the game? I think so.
