LeBron James put more haters to bed Thursday night winning his second consecutive Finals MVP after a 37 point night in Game 7 vs. the Spurs. During his speech LeBron addressed just how touch the Spurs were in the series and the scrutiny he faces on an everyday basis from his own detractors that want to see him lose.
“I’m LeBron James from Akron, Ohio. From the inner-city. I’m not even supposed to be here. That’s enough. Every night I walk into the locker room and see a number 6 with James on the back. I’m blessed. So what everybody say about me off the court don’t matter. I ain’t got no worries.”
LeBron once again separated himself and proved he is undoubtedly the best player in the League. You can save the Durant and Kobe arguments for another day because right now LeBron is truly King whether the haters like it or not.
