It hasn’t been the best past couple of months for NFL WR Chad Johnson.
First he gets married to a total nutcase in Evelyn Lozada. Then he allegedly head butts her in the car last week over a condom receipt dispute, subsequently gets arrested and as we see here gets cut by the Miami Dolphins on HBO’s Hard Knocks.
It really is quite an interesting exchange between Miami Head Coach Joe Philbin and Johnson.
First it’s amazing seeing the inner workings of something like this take place, not to mention when it deals with such a high-profile story over the past week. It may also be interesting to note that Philbin doesn’t tell Johnson that “he’s cut” or “gone” but rather telling him that he’s a good person and things just aren’t working out right now so-to-speak.
Now from here it doesn’t seem like Johnson is begging for his job but he does plead his case to stay considering this may very well be the end of the line for his NFL career.
