Unprecedented penalties coming for ‘Bounty Gate’?

As the news continues to trickle out regarding the now infamous ‘Bounty Gate’, the NFL and commissioner Roger Goodell are reportedly considering severe, sweeping disciplinary measures according to the Washington Post. This would especially be the case for Saints Coach Sean Payton, General Manager Mickey Loomis, former defensive coordinator Gregg Williams and player leaders.

It’s believed that hefty fines would be considered however it’s believed that some of these sanctions could be “unprecedented” with half-season (or possibly more) suspensions being considered.

Commissioner Roger Goodell hasn’t made a final decision however the best bet for New Orleans is that more teams come up in the Bounty Gate investigations making the problem league wide.
