UConn decided to live dangerously and got burned.

With a minute left in the game, instead of going for the tying field goal the Huskies opted for the fake by quarterback Tim Boyle. However throwing into double coverage, even on a fake is never great as it was picked off by Tigers safety Anthony Sherrils securing the 9-6 win for Missouri.

You have to admire the aggressiveness by UConn, especially on the road. However with that said anything can happen in overtime and at this point you have to go for the tie.

Anyways, the Tigers move to 3-0 on the season.
