The U.S. Women’s hockey team set an Olympic record Sunday night when they scored three goals in 55 seconds in the middle of the first period from Sochi. The three goals ended up being just a third of the United State’s offensive output as they went onto a 9-0 win over Switzerland. Kendall Coyne and Amanda Kessel both had two goals and two assists as the U.S. now moves to 2-0 in the Winter Olympics.
They now prepare to face Canada Wednesday it what will be a preview of the Gold medal game.
