U.S. women’s hockey captain mocks Yankees’ Michael Pineda during ceremonial first pitch

USP MLB: NEW YORK YANKEES AT BOSTON RED SOX S BBA USA MA

Prior to Thursday’s Yankees/Red Sox game from Fenway, U.S. women’s hockey captain Meghan Duggan had the honors of throwing out the ceremonial first pitch.

However instead of going out there waving to the crowd and lobbing a ball down to home plate, Ms. Duggan took full advantage of the spotlight to mock Yankees’ pitcher Michael Pineda who was busted the other night for pine tar and subsequently suspended for 10 games.

Unfortunately though for Duggan and the rest of Red Sox nation the Bombers got the last laugh with a 14-5 route dropping Boston to 2-5 against their arch rivals.

Still it was good for a laugh.
