Even though he doesn’t know the specifics of the allegations surrounding Ohio State football head coach Jim Tressel, U-M head coach Brady Hoke offered up some supportive words for his Ohio State counterpart. This is according to Angelique S. Chengelis of the Detroit News.
“I’ve known Jim Tressel a long time,” Hoke said during a luncheon with media on Wednesday. “He’s a quality guy, a doggone good football coach. I don’t know the situation. I know what we’re focused on at Michigan.”
Chengelis also reported that Hoke and defensive coordinator Greg Mattison confirmed that Will Campbell will be moved back to the defensive line. Campbell originally started his career on the DL but was moved to the offense under former head coach Rich Rodriguez.
