U-M football head coach Brady Hoke released his teams depth chart as we inch closer and closer to the beginning of the season for Michigan when they take on Western Michigan Saturday afternoon from The Big House.

There really aren’t a lot of surprises (if any) with this year’s chart. There are however a few things to note.

First, at the corner back position, J.T. Floyd and Courtney Avery could be sharing time opposite of starter Troy Woolfolk. This also seems to be the case at running back with Michael Shaw and Fitzgerald Toussaint sharing time as well. There is still no indication on who the third down back will be however Hoke says we would know the first game of the season. As far as special teams go, Michigan may go with a punt returner by comittee with Junior Hemingway, Drew Dileo, Jeremy Gallon and Martavious Odoms all possibly sharing time. The same can be said for their place kicker as red-shirt sophomore Brendan Gibbons and true freshman Matt Wile will be sharing time there as well.
