The crew stumbles back into the tunnel this week because apparently this show still has legs.
On this episode, they tackle the hard questions. Like which Detroit City FC players would survive a Winter Olympics crossover. Bobsled? Curling? Speed skating? The scouting reports are questionable and the confidence is high.
They also ask whether we should actually be impressed with what the men’s side did this offseason. Is this real progress or are the preseason friendlies a precursor for another milquetoast offensive strategy combined with problems on the backline? The roster moves and early performances get picked apart accordingly.
The women’s MASLW season gets real attention too, including how the squad is shaping up and why the supporters continue to show up in ways that matter. That includes meaningful charity work to support immigrants in the community.
And yes, there is some frustration over the MASLW’s reluctance to give credit where it is due.
