It’s doesn’t look like the Spurs will get point guard Tony Parker back anytime soon.

According to head coach Gregg Popovich, Parker will be gone for the “for the foreseeable future” as Parker is dealing with a “variety of maladies.”

Pop decided to get a little fancy with us. Nonetheless Parker agreed with his head coach per Adande:

The main thing with Pop, he doesn’t want me to play 50 percent, 60 percent. That’s the main thing. He wants me to get all of my little stuff healed. So however much time it takes, next time I come back on the court he wants me to be 100 percent. Against Charlotte, against Detroit, I was not myself. He just doesn’t want me to play like that.

Currently the Spurs sit atop the Southwest Division with a 38-15 record and 2 games up on Houston.
