Minnesota Timberwolves head coach and team president Flip Saunders has passed away after a battle with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Saunders was only 60 years old.
According to reports, Saunders, who was also a minority owner of the Timberwolves has been hospitalized since early September but was slated to still coach the team in 2016.

In addition to the Timberwolves, Saunders also spent time as a head coach with the Pistons and Wizards. He’s survived by his wife and four children.
