Mike Fiers is staying behind in Oakland.
According to the Athletics, the Tigers sent the right-hander to East Bay for two players to be named later or cash considerations.

Both teams reportedly had a deal in place for Fiers just prior to the non-waiver deadline that reportedly fell apart.
