The Tigers released their ALDS roster today as they prepare to take on the New York Yankees in Game 1 tonight (8:37PM ET) from the Bronx.
Manager Jim Leyland has yet to name his Game 4 starter however it seems plausible that he will go with Rick Porcello given the way Penny has struggled down the stretch of the season.
Chris Iott of Mlive.com notes that there are a total of 27 locker plates up in the clubhouse for the Tigers. Two players with nameplates up who are not on the ALDS roster include outfielder Brennan Boesch who’s been out with a thumb injury and reliever David Pauley.

Position players (14): Don Kelly, Victor Martinez, Magglio Ordonez, Ramon Santiago, Ryan Raburn, Delmon Young, Wilson Betemit, Omir Santos, Alex Avila, Jhonny Peralta, Miguel Cabrera, Andy Dirks, Austin Jackson, Brandon Inge.
Notable players left off include Duane Below, Carlos Guillen and Will Rhymes.
