This Week in College Football (part 2)

Looks Good on Paper Game:

#17 Ohio State at Miami (FL)

This game looks good on paper but how good can it really be? That’s the true question. Last weekend against Toledo, Ohio State allowed the  most points in program history to an in state rival since 1909. Did Toledo get lucky? More than likely because judging by last nights manhandling by Boise State, it certainly seems like luck. Or maybe Ohio State just isn’t the same without the sweater vest. However, to the 2002 National Championship game rematch. It’s going to be an alright game. Miami didn’t look all that great against an average Maryland team, Ohio State didn’t look all that great against an average Toledo team. I’m saying Toledo is average because of what they’ve done in the past to other big name schools such as Michigan, Kansas and Iowa State. On paper the Hurricanes and Buckeyes look good until you start going down the page a little bit and realize that the Hurricanes are in more legal trouble than OJ Simpson and Lawrence Taylor combined and the Buckeyes have fallen apart faster than a third world country. This game could be a thriller if you like 2nd string quarterbacks and un-eligible players on the field. I’m sure most disagree with me and think this is going to be a great game. Well you have the right to your opinion and don’t get me wrong, I’ll put it on in between commercials or when I’m changing a diaper but other than that, I really don’t care. I’m going with the Hurricanes because I can’t ever pick the Buckeyes. 24-21 Canes.

For Every Team Who Scores, Do a Beer Bong Game:

#15 Michigan State at Notre Dame

Notre Dame and Michigan was high scoring. Will this game be the same? I think so despite the fact that the Spartans have a better defense than the Wolverines and even the Fighting Irish, but I still see it being high scoring. Why? The Spartans run game is going to go nuts and the Irish are going to answer back through the air. I see Tommy Rees getting hurt and Dayne Crist coming in. Then when it’s all said and done, the Spartans win the game 35-27 and I’ll be really drunk. Sparty On!
