Tom Brady is without question one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play the game but one thing is certain, he cannot beat Eli Manning in big games.

Sunday night, Manning and the New York Giants beat Tom Brady and the New York Giants 21-17 from Super Bowl XLVI in Indianapolis, Indiana.

With 57 seconds left in the game, Bill Belichick let Ahmed Bradshaw walk into the end zone in hopes that Tom Brady could lead the Patriots down the field for the victory.

That however wasn’t the case.

After two crucial drops by Deon Branch and Aaron Hernandez, Brady was forced to throw a prayer up that was almost caught by tight end Rob Gronkowski for the win. However Giant defenders were able to knock the ball away and seal the Super Bowl victory.

Ahmed Bradshaw’s awkward touchdown run where he tried to hold up to take time off the clock was certainly set up by the amazing sideline catch by Giants wide receiver Mario Manningham.

The Giants dominated early in the game after getting a safety on the first play of the first possession for the Patriots when Brady was called for intentional grounding in the end zone. On the ensuing possession the Giants were able to march down the field and give themselves a 9-0 lead.

The New York lead didn’t last long though.

After limited the Patriots to only 64 yards with 4 minutes remaining in the half, Tom Brady was able to drive 96 yards for a key touchdown to Danny Woodhead in the final seconds. This gave the Patriots a 10-9 lead going into halftime.

After getting the ball to start the second half, the Patriots stretched their lead to 17-9 but that would be all she wrote for Tom Brady in terms of generating any more offense.

New York added two field goals while Brady and Welker failed to seal the game when Welker dropped a Brady pass with about 4 minutes left in the game forcing the Pats to punt.

In the end, Eli Manning was named the Super Bowl MVP and the Giants became the only Super Bowl Champion with 9 wins in the regular season.
