According to multiple reports, including one from ESPN’s Jerry Crasnick, the Twins have fired manager Ron Gardenhire.
Just heard the word is not good on #twins manager Ron Gardenhire, but I'm trying to get confirmation on that.

Having spent 13-seasons with the Twins’ manager, Gardenhire was the second longest tenured skipper in the MLB (behind Mike Scioscia of the Angels) and had most recently won AL Manager of the year honors back in 2012. Additionally Gardenhire has been with the Twins organization since 1991 taking over for Tom Kelly back in 2002.
Lately though Gardenhire has had his struggles with the team as Minnesota has missed the past four postseasons.
