The Rangers apologize to Texas for ‘Fire Charlie’ tweet

As Texas was getting embarrassed by TCU, someone on the Rangers’ social media account decided to tweet a sentiment most Longhorn fans can probably agree with.

Yeah… Charlie Strong’s Texas Longhorns finished today’s game suffering a brutal 50-7 road loss to the Horned Frogs. To make matters worse the game was over in the first quarter as TCU rattled off 30 points against Texas.

The Texas Rangers higher ups though weren’t impressed as the tweet was deleted and the employee was apparently fired.

I hope they fired the employee more so for their use of the hashtag.
