The Pistons and Wizards game initially scheduled for Wednesday night from the LCA has been postponed due to an ice storm that has hit Texas.
In the wake of Detroit’s 111-105 loss to the Mavericks Monday night, the team had been stuck at the Dallas airport for seven hours before they made their way back to the hotel.
According to the league, a makeup date is TBD.
The Pistons’ flight out of Dallas is one of around 1,200 scheduled flights in and out of the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) that were postponed or canceled due to the weather. Meanwhile, 300,000 homes and businesses have been left without power due to the severe weather conditions in Texas according to a USA Today report.
