#13 Utah and #24 UCF
Others Receiving Votes:
Navy, Michigan, Northwestern, Syracuse, North Carolina State, Maryland, Temple
The Storyline Here:
- #1 Oregon stayed at on top of the college football world for another week after squeaking by the California Golden Bears.
- #2 Auburn jumped #3 TCU in the standings due to an impressive victory over Georgia while #3 TCU struggled with San Diego State.
- #4 Wisconsin jumped #5 Boise State in the standings because well, beating a team 83-20 is more impressive then beating Idaho who know nothing about anything but potatoes.
- #11 Michigan State dropped a spot after having their week off. I think #10 Oklahoma State deserves it after beating Texas (even though the Longhorns aren’t what they used to be.)
- #13 Utah and #24 UCF dropped from the rankings with losses to Notre Dame (5-5) and Southern Miss (7-3).
- #23 Iowa dropped almost 10 spots due to their 21-17 loss to Northwestern.
- #24 Miami (FL) and #25 Florida State jump into the Majors Top 25.
