Lions

The Detroit Lions are getting in on the fire sale happening in New York this week by acquiring 2016 All-Pro defensive tackle Damon Harrison from the Giants for a fifth round draft pick.

This is according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Originally acquired by the Giants in 2016 by luring him away from the Jets with a massive five-year, $46.25 million deal, ‘Snacks’ is known around the league as a quality run-stuffer which will undoubtedly help the Lions’ 30th ranked run defense.

A seven-year veteran, Harrison has accumulated 386 total combined tackles throughout his career including 31 already this season.

‘Snacks’ was apparently considered expendable this year after the horrid 1-6 by the G-Men.
