The Lakers threw a huge wrench in the 76ers’ draft plans tonight selecting Ohio State PG D’Angelo Russell with the second overall pick after many had Jahlil Okafor already house hunting in Lipstick City.
Okafor may be the most NBA ready player in the draft but many (including Russell) have D’Angelo Russell tagged as the best overall player.
Now Philadelphia, who drafted Okafor is stuck with three centers in Nerlens Noel and Joel Embiid and apparently they’re sticking with all three.
That’s quite the crowded front court in Philly.
