In the end it turned out the much hyped Mayweather vs. Pacquaio “Fight of the Century” was just that… all hype. At least that’s the feeling you get when you read the vast majority of Twitter response.
Yeah unfortunately Mike we did… Maybe we can get Holyfield and yourself back in the ring so you can even out his ears.
We waited 5 years for that… #underwhelmed #MayPac

JV may be on to something.
That fight was horrible. #bringheavyweightsback #knockout #actualboxing

Just one of the problems with the sport of boxing.
There's no debating whether Mayweather is a magician. But he should also take up marathons.

Undercards and all, I think we all expected more Dirk…
Expected more. Floyd too long and quick.

Something MMA has gotten right Ludacris. But I think we’re all missing the Tyson days as illustrated by the JV tweet.
Glad my Boi won but DAMN I wanted to see a KNOCKOUT tonight!! Boxing starting to get real boring. Missing the Tyson Days.

Not a Call of Duty fan but I’m sure this isn’t a compliment for the fight.

There’s also plenty of people that probably want their $90 back OBJ.
Throughly happy I didn't pay for a ticket, it's hardly fun to watch

Are there still KO’s in boxing?

Perhaps not a strong indication that a lot of people will be coming back to the sport of boxing. This fight probably also turned off a bunch of casual fans.
