According to Ian Rapoport, free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. will decide on his next team after the Thanksgiving holiday with a familiar team checking in on the veteran wideout.
That team? The New York Giants where Beckham spent the first four years of his NFL career before being shipped away to Cleveland in exchange for a haul that included Jabrill Peppers and draft picks.
Beckham, 30, did visit the Giants’ facility last month to check on former teammate Sterling Shepard after Shepard’s ACL tear, but did not meet with the team’s brass. This time, it’s planned, and an improbable reunion with the team that selected him 12th overall in the 2014 NFL Draft is a possibility.

The Giants though aren’t the only team expected to pursue OBJ. Division rival Jerry Jones and the Cowboys have also expressed plenty of interest in the free agent with Jones going as far as saying two weeks ago that “We have all the appreciation in the world for Odell. I know the Cowboys star on that helmet, when he puts it on, could look pretty good.” Meanwhile, OBJ has also expressed interest in Dallas who like the Giants are in the hunt for the postseason sitting at 7-2 and 6-3 respectively within the NFC East.
The 30-year-old Beckham is also expected to be ready to go in early December after suffering an ACL injury with the Rams during this past year’s Super Bowl.
