Detroit
Lions LB Alex Anzalone.

The Lions have released their final injury report ahead of their Sunday night matchup against the Vikings which is undoubtedly the biggest regular-season game of the season and arguably the biggest regular-season game in NFL history.

Among the players ruled out include:

  • RB David Montgomery (knee)
  • CB Emmanuel Moseley (illness)

Montgomery is expected to return for the playoffs, while a bug has been reported to have made its rounds in the Lions’ locker room. Unfortunately, it has gotten to Moseley and an already depleted Lions secondary, however, Moseley didn’t play a single snap in San Francisco last Monday night so there was a chance, even if healthy, that he would’ve been held out Sunday night against the Vikings.

The following players are listed as questionable heading into Sunday night:

  • RB Craig Reynolds (back)
  • WR Kalif Raymond (hamstring)
  • LB Alex Anzalone (forearm)

Both Raymond and Anzalone still have over 10 games remaining on their injury clock, however, they were both full participants in practice today so it seems like there’s a pretty good chance that both return on Sunday. That’s the good news though as Reynolds did not practice on Friday and you’d have to think his status for Sunday is a little more uncertain. Look for Sione Vaki and/or Jemar Jefferson to possibly fill in if Reynolds can’t go.

Finally, the following players didn’t have an injury designation on Friday:

  • OG Christian Mahogany (illness)
  • LB Jack Campbell (rib)
  • CB Amik Robertson (calf)

Mahogany who has been dealing with an illness did return to practice and should be available on Sunday. The same can be said for Campbell and Robertson who were full participants in Friday’s practice.
