The Bruins scored four third period goals to sink the Maple Leafs in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference quarterfinals from Boston.
Down 4-3 heading into the final 20 minutes, the B’s got goals from Torey Krug, Jake DeBrusk, David Pastrnak and Brad Machand (empty net) to punch their ticket to the next round against the Tampa Bay Lightning. Tonight’s game also marked the first time the Bruins scored six or more goals in multiple games since the 1991 Adam’s Division semifinals against the Hartford Whalers.

For Toronto, their season ends after managing a comeback in the series after being down three-games-to-one. Frederik Andersen had 29 saves for the Leafs who now haven’t won a playoff series since 2004.
