It seems like the fire sale is on in Denver.
Saturday, the Broncos traded wide receiver Jerry Jeudy to the Cleveland Browns in exchange for a 2024 fifth-round pick and a 2024 sixth-round pick.
Jeudy, who is entering the final year of his deal will make $13M in 2024 after compiling 54 receptions for 758 yards and two touchdowns for the Broncos last season. The former first-round selection back in 2020 should also slot in nicely into what is looking like a pretty formidable air attack for Cleveland which also includes Amari Cooper, Elijah Moore, and Pro Bowl tight end David Njoku.
Meanwhile, Browns QB Deshaun Watson’s cryptic tweet seems to make a little more sense now.
In addition to Jeudy, Cooper, and Moore will also be entering the final year of their respective deals.
