After a couple of months of painful campaigning from the 30 MLB teams, the All-Star starting lineups were finally revealed.
Obviously Matt Holiday and Giancarlo Stanton will have to have replacements as both players are recovering from injuries.

On the AL side of things Kansas City was still well represented in the starting lineup despite not securing every single starting position on the field. Alex Gordon, Salvado Perez, Lorenzo Cain, and Alcides Escobar will represent the American League Champion Royals while Blue Jays first baseman Josh Donaldson set an All-Star voting record with 14,090,188 total nominations.
The Royals may ultimately get another starter in the lineup as Miguel Cabrera will also be out nursing a calf injury. Kansas City’s Eric Hosmer finished second to the Tigers first baseman falling around 2M votes shy.
