Texas governor Greg Abbott is probably taking more heat than the Astros after their 9-6 Game 4 loss to the Royals Monday afternoon.
Sure the Astros were flying high with a 6-2 lead after seven innings which prompted Greg Abbottβs office to tweet this.

However, tt was almost right after that original tweet from Abbott that the Royals began their comeback to the tune of seven unanswered to force a deciding Game 5 back in Kansas City.
The Governorβs office tried to cover their tracks by deleting the tweet and changing the subject, however the damage had far been done.
The embarrassment though was too much for Abbott not to address as the Governor took to his personal Twitter account to basically tell everyone to not follow his officeβs feed.
Hey @Astros fans. Unfollow β> @GovAbbott. Follow the REAL Greg Abbott right here. No predictions. Just support.

Luckily Abbottβs term started in this past January so thereβs time for this to blow over before running for re-election. If the Astros lose Game 5 though, Abbott might want to forget about carrying Harris, Fort Bend and Montgomery counties in 2019.
