Terrelle Pryor seeks meeting with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell

Former Ohio State QB Terrelle Pryor hopes to meet with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell sometime this week in hopes of being declared eligible for the NFL Supplemental Draft which is scheduled to take place on August 17th.

The original report came from ProFootballTalk.com who cites an “unnamed source”

ESPN recently reported that Pryor delayed his Pro Day workout for scouts in order to get his status with the NFL resolved.

Later, PFT reported that Pryor’s camp remains confident that he will be included in the supplemental draft.

“We have been in discussions with the Commissioner’s office over the past week to address the NFL’s concerns. I am confident that once the NFL has a full understanding of the facts, Terrelle will be part of Wednesday’s supplemental draft,” attorney David Cornwell wrote in a statement released to PFT.

Pryor recently left Ohio State to avoid a five-game suspension after being involved with memorabilia for tattoo scandal that has plagued the Ohio State football program. This is the same scandal that forced head coach Jim Tressel to resign.
