Tebowmania has officially started in Boston as ESPN reported this morning that the polarizing, QB, TE or whatever you want to call him signed a two year deal (no money guaranteed) with the Patriots.
Tim Tebow signed a two-year contract with the Patriots that included no guaranteed money.

And after initial reports indicated that Tebow would be used as a TE instead of a QB it seems like that has all changed given this Adam Schefter tweet:
Patriots did not sign Tim Tebow to play RB nor TE. They signed him to play QB. Backup QB. Tom Brady will not lose a play.

Given this news, the Boston Herald seemed to sum things up very nicely with their headline this morning.
I can appreciate the type of coach Bill Belichick is and what he has done with certain project players in the past but this seems like a tremendous waste of time for a Super Bowl caliber team that hasn’t won anything since 2005. Not to mention the media distractions surrounding this more than likely vastly outweigh any positives.
