Yeah the home run derby is incredibly boring and the Chris Berman jokes have run their course. However Giancarlo Stanton left us with at least one memorable moment from the derby tonight when he came just six rows short of completely hitting a ball out of Target Field.
The home run was projected to go 510 feet which I think is a little modest. Aside from that the other highlight was Jose Bautista hitting 10 bombs in the first round while Yasiel Puig came up with a big goose egg which aside from the derby as a whole was the big disappointment on the night.
