You can’t win many games without hitting a single three even if you’re high-powered Syracuse.
Well that’s exactly what happened Saturday night as the Orange went 0-10 from beyond the arc in a 55-53 loss to the Dayton Flyers. The No. 3 Syracuse who struggled late in the season only to blow past Western Michigan in the first round achieved zero success from three-point land for the first time since 1995 ironically enough before some Orange players were even born.
Meanwhile for No. 11 Dayton they score their second straight upset in this year’s tourney after taking out No. 6 Ohio State last Thursday.
