Suh and Bunkley avoid suspensions

Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh and New Orleans Saints defensive tackle Brodrick Bunkley avoided suspension by the NFL after their game actions during this past week.

During Thursday’s Thanksgiving Game from Ford Field, Suh appeared to kick Houston Texans quarterback Matt Schaub in the groin. Suh wasn’t flagged on the play however given Suh’s growing reputation in the League, the NFL commented saying it was an incident that definitely caught their attention.

Meanwhile during the Sunday Night game between New Orleans and San Francisco, Bunkley kicked 49ers offensive lineman Alex Boone in the back of the helmet and was immediately flagged and ejected from the game with just over a minute remaining.

The news however wasn’t good for Tampa Bay’s Eric Wright who was suspended for the next four games after testing positive for a banned substance. Wright apparently was taking Adderall for health reasons however didn’t have proper documentation for the prescription. He will reportedly miss four game checks and have his guaranteed money for next season null and void.
