Stephanie McMahon has resigned from her role as co-CEO of WWE.
In a statement she released on her Twitter page, Stephanie notes taking on the co-CEO role alongside Nick Khan was the โopportunity of a lifetimeโ and with the return of her father Vince McMahon sheโs able to once again return to her โleave and take it one step further with (her) official resignationโ.
Moreover, since his return this month itโs been reported that Vince has been voted back into his executive chairman role ahead of the WWEโs impending new media deal and to oversee a potential sale of the company.
Meanwhile, in light of Stephanieโs announcement, Vince, as well as Nick Khan, also released statements:

Stephanie McMahon has resigned from her roles as Chairwoman and Co-CEO.
Nick Khan will serve as WWE CEO.

After Vince McMahonโs sexual misconduct and hush money payment allegations become public last year, Stephanie returned to the WWE from her brief leave of absence to take on the co-CEO role with Nick Kahn while Triple H would resume his duties as head of creative.
Lastly, it was also reported that JP Morgan was hired on to advise and consult over any potential sale of the company.
