Steelers RB Le’Veon Bell tells police officer he ‘didn’t know you could get a DUI for being high’

NFL: Preseason-Pittsburgh Steelers at Washington Redskins

This past Wednesday, Steelers running backs Le’Veon Bell and  LaGarrette Blount were pulled over in Ross Township, Pa. with Police finding a small amount of marijuana in the car prompting a misdemeanor possession charge for both players. Additionally Bell picked up a DUI since he was behind the drivers seat.

Bell though, who I’m guessing didn’t take any law classes at Michigan State told the police according to WPXI, “I didn’t know you could get a DUI for being high. I smoked two hours ago. I’m not high anymore. I’m perfectly fine. Why would I be getting high if I had to make it to my game?”

At least he was honest…
