According to reports Oklahoma five-star running back Joe Mixon is under investigation for pulling his best Ray Rice impression and allegedly assaulting a female student at a Pickleman’s Gourmet Cafe in Norman Friday morning. Ty Duffy of the The Big Lead writes that Mixon hasn’t yet been arrested or charged as the investigation continues.
Molitor said she had never seen Mixon before he punched her in the face, breaking four bones. She said Mixon was “harassing” her and some of her friends at Pickleman’s before the incident.
“He punched me one time,” she said. “He broke my face in four places … my nose, my sinuses … they’re broken.”
Mixon, a 6-1, 209-pound running back from Oakley, CA received his five-star ranking from Rivals.com, 247sports.com and Scout.com. Mixon has also been considered Oklahoma’s best running back recruit in years while having the opportunity to create an immediate impact with the team in his freshman season.
