WWE superstar Sami Zayn has been one member of the roster unafraid to speak his mind whether that be the on-screen kayfabe or behind-the-scenes real life.

The latest has come when Zayn who is of Syrian descent, spoke out against the state of Israel and their apartheid and suppression of the Palestinian people.

Zayn also spoke out on how to help the people of Gaza as they’re besieged and assaulted by Israel who acts with impunity with full backing from the west.

Finally, Zayn spoke out against politicians who have given their unfettered support for Israel despite the atrocities undertaken by the state. This included speaking out against New York City mayoral candidate Andrew Yang.

According to additional reports, pro-Israel groups contacted the WWE as well as their television partners (NBC Universal and FOX) in the United States over Zayn’s Twitter comments. Wrestling News, however, has learned that the WWE has not responded at least not yet. This considering the relation the McMahon family has had with former President Donald Trump and the relationship he’s had with Israeli prime minister and noted war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu.

In any sense, you’d have to assume that the WWE would face massive backlash if they took action against Zayn bearing in mind #WeSupportSamiZayn is trending on Twitter.

Zayn though is no stranger to coming under fire from Middle East countries and/or NGOs. Zayn hasn’t been permitted to take part in WWE’s highly pay-per view’s in Saudi Arabia due to his Syrian heritage and the Kingdom’s bigoted stances towards ethnic Syrians.
