Josh Rosen

USC QB Sam Darnold and UCLA QB Josh Rosen have some huge cojones considering theyโ€™re probably playing Russian roulette with their NFL careers. That 50/50 chance with either of their future comes via Hue Jackson and the recently 0-16 accomplished Cleveland Browns having a shot at drafting either one of the two with the first overall pick in 2018.

Meanwhile itโ€™s looking as though Rosen will probably be the unfortunate one to get taken by the Brownies unless heโ€™s able to threaten some kind of Eli Manning-esque mutiny against Cleveland and strong arm himself out of the pick.

Via CBS Sports:

While Rosenโ€™s decision seemed like a given, there had been some uncertainty about what Darnold would do. While heโ€™s definitely an intriguing prospect, there are parts of his game that need refining โ€” particularly the part of his game that leads him to turn the ball over too often โ€” but the fact of the matter is itโ€™s hard to turn down the NFL when thereโ€™s a good chance youโ€™re going to be a first-round pick.

Itโ€™s unlikely but if thereโ€™s ever a time flat out say you want nothing to do with a team now is the time. But then thereโ€™s the paycheck either one of the two will pass up in that sense.
