Russia doesn’t seem to be acknowledging their 3-2 loss to the United States

The Bolshoy Ice Dome in Sochi which plays host to the hockey games at the Winter Olympics usually portrays the final scores of each game on the roof in a extravagant show of lights and projection.

Here’s how it looked after Canada’s 6-0 win over Austria the other night.

However Yahoo! Sports’ Eric Adelson noticed that tonight’s final between the United States and Russia was strangely missing from the roof of the Ice Dome.

And it remained that way still for a half hour after T.J. Oshie ended it in the 8th shootout round.

Meanwhile, chants of U-S-A! U-S-A! could be heard as the US fans filed out of the arena. Russian fans sounded like they were good sports about it though shaking the hands and providing plenty of hugs to their American counterparts.
